Business Development Manager

Senior Level | Boston

We are looking for business development professionals with the experience and ability to help develop and sell large-scale engineering automation solutions. Background or related experience in engineering, CAD, or automation is a plus. Experience selling large service-oriented solutions or products in the CAD or PLM markets is mandatory.

Although we often have opportunities in locations across the world, we are specifically looking for someone in the UK immediately. This is a work-from-home position.

Engineering Intent, Inc. provides enterprise-scale engineering automation solutions for manufacturing companies throughout the world. Engineering automation solutions take customer requirements and follow embedded design rules to automatically design a custom product such as an elevator, custom door, transformer, plastic mold, crane, etc. Another name for the technology is knowledge-based engineering. For many products that are custom engineered, an automation solution can deliver not only well-engineered 3D designs, but also automatic proposal documents, pricing, sales drawings, bills-of-material, manufacturing drawings, CNC, etc., saving our customers hundreds—sometimes thousands—of engineering hours on each sale.

Our offices are located in Boston, Minsk (Belarus), Portland (Oregon), and Germany.
